As Group Training and Development Manager at London Electricity Gill initiated management development and succession planning schemes, introduced graduate assessment centres and NVQs. She was responsible for Equal Opportunities policies and practice.

Her independent assignments include external management assessor to a financial services company, facilitating leadership and teambuilding workshops and developing a management competency structure for a public company

She has extensive industrial relations experience, including IT advocacy.
